At Addiction Intervention Inc., we put the focus on family recovery from the diseases of addiction, mental health disorders and behavioral problems. When your loved one is in crisis, we bring a professional approach to guide your whole family to hope, health and healing. Many people believe they have to wait for their loved one to "hit bottom" before getting help, but Interventions provide a safe and effective way to begin recovery before lives are destroyed. Addiction Intervention Inc. gives family members a loving and non-confrontational method to offer a solution and allow, not force, the loved one to accept help. Our almost 30 years of experience can help your family find solutions that work.

And at Addiction Intervention, Inc., we provide Case Management to follow the alcoholic's care throughout the treatment process, helping family members keep informed about the progress of their loved one and making certain that the treatment plan is being followed. We also offer follow up care through our unique Heart of the Matter program for family members after the successful intervention, at that sensitive time during treatment and as the patient is being reintegrated in the family. This support is crucial for all family members to get the care they need after years of focusing on the problems of the alcoholic or impaired loved one. And we conduct Family Workshops to improve broken communication in the structure of the family.

Finally, through our Center for Law and Addiction we provide confidential evaluations to assist lawyers, individuals and Courts around the country in determining whether treatment would be appropriate in litigated matters involving DUI or substance abuse arrests; divorce and custody cases; and other criminal and civil matters. Our experienced approach produces not only effective Expert Reports, but also long term solutions for people involved in legal disputes.

In 2003 the National Institute on Drug Abuse found 120,000 preventable deaths directly related to alcoholism and substance abuse. But when families participate in recovery, the outcome can change. Success in the first year of recovery is at least 50% higher when the family is involved. Addiction Intervention Inc. focuses on family recovery to capture that dynamic.
